The World Doesn't Need Us: Munyu (One Shot) Kang Jing SGCC Exclusive

As the world gets over populated, people gets alienated more often among one another.

Although humans adapt well with the changing environment, more of us have to get used to living alone in this crowded world, and we survived.

But how did we actually convince ourselves to stay alive? Loneliness can be the toughest thing to fight against…. And….why do we have to be alone?

Coming across many types of people for the past 40 years or so, I have gotten in touch with many “loners”. Many of whom were not forced to live alone by choice. Some were being born to be alone.

Not every one of them had the chance to be saved by a fairy Godmother. Most of them had to bear with cold shoulders, sarcasm, backstabbing, betrayal, and many more cruel scenarios, throughout their lifetime.

Eventually, they either grew up believing that this is the right way to conduct their live to survive, or somehow someone came along and steer them towards the average way of life.

So, what went wrong in our world? Is it true that there is a group of people that the World really Doesn’t Need?

And I created four different characters being left alone in this world under four different situations. Some by choice, mostly not by choice. But I would like to add some positivity to it and tell that all will be okay if we work towards our goal. Starting with Munyu, who was abandoned at birth, looking different from the usual children around her, how did she survive in this harsh world.
